Can psychics really see the past/future?

I’m sure everyone has seen the signs for “$5 Psychic Readings” in their town or while traveling elsewhere. What I wanted to discuss here were your thoughts on using psychics for more than just personal entertainment, more specifically in police and detective work.

There’s been documented cases in the past where police haven’t been able to solve a crime, at which point they turn to a psychic for help. What I find the most interesting is when the psychics they hire actually solve the case.

What are your thoughts on this? What about using psychics to help solve some of the current investigations (such as the Peterson or Hacking trials?)

I’m not an expert myself on the topic, but I’ve been learning a bit more from a new show on Court TV called Psychic Detectives. It’s on Wednesday’s at 9:30pm in case you want to watch it too.

Can psychics really read the past and the future? Â*YES, here is how and why.....

Time is a dimension, like a straight line or a plane, that CAN be seen through by some. Â*The most important thing to remember, especially for people seeking psychic readings, is that human beings have far more control over our lives and futures than we realize or are willing to admit. Â*This means that you could get an accurate psychic reading and then you could make changes in your life that will actually CHANGE YOUR FUTURE. Â*Then you are left thinking that your psychic read you poorly. Â*This has happened to me and I suspect that it's relatively common. Â*You could actually change your future BASED upon the psychic reading you got! Â*I have met and known many psychics and I rarely hear them discuss this phenomenon and I think the reason is that they realize themselves that most people are just so blown away by psychic ability in the first place, maybe they can't wrap their brains around such a concept as changing your own future?

Where does psychic ability come from? Â*This is VERY INTERESTING! Â*If you accept evolution as fact, then you should realize that humanity evolved and got along without the ability of speech for some period of time. Â*Other forms of human communication such as body language are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, and psychic communication is just another form of non-verbal communication that predates human speech. Â*When speech came along, it enabled humans to express ideas more quickly and clearly and psychic ability became a bit vestigal, like wings on a chicken. Â*Chickens don't fly.

Envision this: Â*You have a colony of pre-humans who are starving to death as a result of drought. Â*If the leader (medicine man; shaman?) can lead his clan to an area of more abundance, then the whole clan will survive. Â*Thus, intuition would have been a distinct evolutionary advantage.

So....I think the gene is still around, like wings on a chicken.....nothing to fear!

Psychics can guess the past /future. Such powers could also be a form of scorcery to prevent people from seeking God for their problems. People also need to improve their behaviour and character if they wish to keep a good relationship instead of casting spells to achieve submission or conquest. What is unclean can be fatal.

;) Oh YES, you bet we can! Â*I've been consciously clairvoyant since the age of 3. Â*My first glimpse of the future via a clairvoyant vision occured when I was 3 - I knew that my parents' house would burn to the ground and I made sure that we were no where near it when it did! I have been asked, by clients, Â*to "see what I can" about Â*a lot of things, including topics of an investigative nature. Â*I have picked up exact names, property descriptions, etc. Â*You would be very surprised at the specific, validating info a real psychic can often "see". Â*

Technically, seeing your name on a birth certificate means you're going to cross over eventually, and is thusly "fatal". Â*

Hello everyone I'm new. I really like this topic a lot.

The reason why it interest me like it do because I have my experiences. I'm not saying that I'm psychic or anything.

Things that I have experienced were in my dreams. While dreaming, these things were actually happening. I also remember when i was around the age of 6-9.

I didnt stay with my parents. I and my sister lived my uncle. We were heading to town. We hadn't seen our mother in maybe a week or two. As we headed on down the road. I had these strong feelings and connections to her not being where she should be.

I told me sister, " I think momma's in jail." Sure enough when we made it to town. I asked my step dad where was my mom. And thats when he told me that she was in jail.

I don't understand it until this day. i never really talked to anyone about it.

But from these things that I encountered I truly do believe its possible. NO DOUBTS!!! ;D
