It is hard to move towards a future of peace if we harbor anger, hatred, resentments etc. - only when we heal that within ourselves can we really be open to love and peace with all our fellow humans. I believe in never forgetting but forgiveness is crucial to higher consciousness, to really becoming more of who we are to letting more of God's light shine through.
