Sounds
of Nature
Ancient mystics believe the sound of
the whale...
During my private readings over the past 40 years, I have been
frequently asked “Averi, am I in my right place Spiritually? Do
you have a message from Spirit for me?” There are many ways I
receive these answers, usually I connect to God/Goddess, the soul of
the person I am reading and the answers flow.
Sometimes on weekends I walk near the ocean or hike into the woods
to listen to the sounds of nature.
I always ask God/Goddess to make clear to me my next steps and the
wisdom I need to share with clients calling during the following
week. Last Saturday as I was walking by the ocean in the sand dunes
at Pt Dume in Malibu, California I saw two California gray whales. A
very exciting moment! During the winter and spring, the grays
migrate south to the mating and calving lagoons of Mexico, returning
north to feed mainly off Alaska. The gray whale is most noted for
its wonderful sounds sung by males. Each breeding season brings with
it corresponding changes in the whales’ songs, reflecting the
ability of the whale to teach us how to create through song and
sound.
Ancient mystics believe the sound of the whale is the same as the
sound of the universe being birthed.
Singing (even humming) is one of our most powerful and creative
acts, linking us deeply to our soul, awakening healing energy.
Whales have a form of echo – location or sonar. The sensitivity to
sound links the whale to the primal creative sounds of life. If you
see a whale whether in the ocean, in your dreams, or visually by way
of this email, this energy can be used to tap the hidden levels of
your mind and even accelerate the manifesting of your goals.
When the whale appears to you, as it is to you here in my email,
there is an all year cycle at play in which your creative powers of
sound and voice will develop. – You will hear what is being said
beneath the words of others and find ways to use your voice more
effectively in all aspects of your life.
I am including a reprint of a story from the “San Francisco
Chronicle” and hope you enjoy.
Whale of a Story
“A female humpback whale became entangled in a web of crab
traps & fishing lines. She was weighted down by hundreds of
pounds of rope wrapped around her body - her tail, her torso and a
line tugging in her mouth, and had to struggle to stay afloat.
A fisherman spotted her just east of the Farralon Islands &
radioed an environmental group for help. Within a few hours, a
rescue team arrived and determined that the only way to save her was
to dive in and untangle her - a very dangerous proposition. One slap
of the tail could accidentally kill a rescuer. But they worked for
hours with knives and eventually freed her.
When she was free, the divers say she swam in what seemed like
joyous circles. She then came back to each and every diver, one at a
time, and nudged them, pushed them gently around - she thanked them!
Some said it was the most incredibly beautiful experience of their
lives. The diver who cut the rope out of her mouth says her eye was
following him the whole time, and he will never be the same.”
May we all be so blessed - to be untangled from the things that are
binding us.
